"Receiving Gods Testimony" 1 John 5:9-12
We all receive the testimony of men. The testimony of God is far greater. If we receive the testimony of men we should receive the testimony of God. God has testified that Jesus is the Christ the savior of the world and that we have eternal life in Jesus Christ. -
"Living Like Overcomers" 1 John 5:1-8
As Children of God based on faith in Jesus Christ, we are called to live as overcomers, keeping God's commands and loving one another. We need to lean more and more on God and listen to the world less and less to be able to live like the overcomers we are. -

Confidence is a tricky thing, too much or misplaced confidence can get you in a lotta trouble. Christians are called to have measured confidence based on Christ's work on the cross and our walk with Him. -
"Examining Your Walk" 1 John 4:12-16
All Christians should take a look at how they are doing in their walk with God. One way to do this is to see how you are doing at loving your fellow Christians. Another is to look at what you confess publicly about Jesus Christ. -
"Loving One Another" 1 John 4:7-11
As Christians, we need to have our priorities line up with God's priorities. Our focus in life needs to be on what God is focused on. One of the great priorities of the Gospel is to love one another as Christ loved us. -

"What We Should Look For" 1 John 3:13-17
When we are looking for someone to tell us God's word what is it we are looking for? How can we know if we should listen to a preacher or teach of God's word? John wrote 1st John to people who were facing false teachers. He tells them some things we can look for in a preacher or teacher. -

There have been and will always be false teachers. John warns his readers to guard against false teaching, providing some steps we can all take to insure we are not deceived by false teachers. -

Salvation is an amazing thing, God in His great love provided a way for us to enter into an eternal relationship with him. As children of God, we need to continue to grow as we serve God and love others. -
"Knowing what you Know" 1 John 2:25-29

If we want to walk with God there are some instructions we need to follow. One of those instructions is found in First John 2:15-24, "Do not Love the World, nor the things in the World." This means not sacrificing for, not serving the things of the world but serving God. -
"Free To Not Sin" 1 John 2:1-14
Some folks live life right on the edge of sin, not understanding that we are called to sin less. We need to understand that God desires that we live according to His Word and His will and that when we do this we can know we are in fellowship with Him. -
"Walking in the Light" 1 John 1:5-10
Christian fellowship is vital to our growth in Christ. We must be in fellowship with God to be in fellowship with one another. With this in mind, a question arises, does God require anything from us to be in fellowship with Him? This sermon hopes to answer that question from 1 John 1:5-10. -
"The Word Of Life" 1 John 1:1-6
Throughout the history of Christianity, there have been false teachers. John wrote the letter of 1st John to correct some false teaching. In the introduction to the letter, he corrects the false teaching that Christ was not actually a man, that he only appeared to be a man. -
Glory to God in the Highest
Sometimes we forget that the most important thing in the Christmas season is giving Glory to God. When we look at how the angels give Glory to God at the Birth of Christ we can see a wonderful example of how we should give Glory to God. -
What We Are Getting For Christmas
What has God given us when He gives us His son? Certainly a savior, but also a Prophet, a Priest, a Judge, and a King. When we understand the height and width of this gift it will change how we live. -
"Where Messiah Comes From"
s Christians, we need to be certain that the Bible is God's word. One of the things God has placed in the Bible to help us know it is His word are prophetic statements. God tells us what will happen, and it happens just like He said it would. God provided a number of prophecies about the Messiah coming. We can look at how those came true and know that the Bible is, in fact, God's word. -

https://youtu.be/-FQ7prw31UA -
"United in Error" Genesis 11:1-9
God's people are called to be united, however, it is important that we are united in doing God's will. Unity is good as long as we are united in serving God. This sermon looks at the people at the tower of Babel and how they were united in their error, rejecting God's command to fill the Earth. -
"Choosing Our Response" Genesis 9:18-29
Everyone messes up. We have a choice when people mess up. We can ignore the mess, we can take advantage of them in their mess, or we can show love and kindness to them in their mess. How we chose to respond to their mess says a lot about who we are and our walk with God. How we chose to respond affects more than just us, it affects the generations that come after us. -
Opportunities to Obey God
God gives us opportunities to obey him every day. We can get caught up in getting results, but what He really wants from us is obedience. We need to seek His will and yield to his prompting, obeying right away and fully. -

"Life in Christ" Acts 9:26-31

"Christ Should Change Us" Acts 9:20-25

I am the Vine
God wants us to serve Him to be able to do this we have to abide in Jesus Christ. We do not have the power to do anything for God if we are not abiding in Christ.
